Q. How do I change my username / password?
A. Click Account Settings in the top menu bar, then simply edit the
sign up information in your account settings.

A. Click Account Settings in the top menu bar, then select sign up information from the list. This allows you to update your username, password, email address, gender and more.
Q. What is Speakle.com Mail?
A. The perfect way to receive your matches - straight from us to your inbox! We'll send your latest matches to you as often as you like. It's a great time saver and an easy way to receive information about the teachers or students you're looking for!
Q. How do I resign from Speakle.com?
A. To resign your membership or subscription, visit your account settings and select close account.
Q. How do I check my subscription status?
A. To check subscription status, click Account Settings in the top menu bar and select sign subscription status from the list.
Q. How do I change my password?
A. To change your password, Click Account Settings in the top menu bar and select sign up information.
Q. How do I change my email address?
A. To change your email address, click Account Settings in the top menu bar and select sign up information from the list.
Q. How do I block a member from contacting me?
A. Visit the member’s profile, and click on the "Block This User" link below the photo. Then Click the red Block button.
Q. How do I specify which matches appear in my Profile?
A. To ensure you receive the best matches possible, be sure your profile's description of who you'd like to meet is accurate. Also save your favorite teachers to your profile.
Q. How do I stop receiving mail from Speakle.com?
A. Visit your Profile page and select how often you want to receive your matches. In this case, select the "Do not send me my matches by email" button. Then click Save.
Q. How do I turn on / off auto sign in?
A. You may turn on / off this feature at any time. Click Account Settings on the top menu bar and then select auto sign in from the list. Turn sign in On /Off by clicking the appropriate radio button and then Click the red Go button.
Q. How do I stop someone from emailing me?
A. To stop someone from emailing you, select Account Settings from the top menu bar and select Blocking from the list. Enter the username of the person you don't want to receive email from and then click the red Block button.
Anonymity / Privacy
Q. How does Speakle.com protect my privacy?
A. Relationships are private. We plan to keep it that way. Review our Privacy Policy for all the details.
Q. How are the emails I send to other members anonymous?
A. Speakle.com preserves your privacy by directing your emails through our double-blind system — our exclusive technology that strips your real email address and replaces it with your username and the Speakle domain. Then the system forwards your messages to the members you’re emailing.
Q. Sending anonymous email?
A.One way to contact members is by clicking the "email me" link in their profiles. The other way is to address your email to. Note: You only can send anonymous email from the address you gave us when you signed up.
Replying to email from other members.
DO NOT SIMPLY PRESS YOUR REPLY BUTTON. Doing so may reveal your real email address. Before you send your reply, ensure you’ve turned off your auto-signatures and auto-responders. Read through your responses to ensure your actual email address does not appear. Make certain not to copy (cc:) or forward email to yourself when you send a message from your own email program.
Q. How can I set up a Web-based email account?
A. If you need to establish an email account, there are several Web-based services that provide email service free of charge. By establishing a free Web-based email account and using it to sign up with Speakle.com:
- Send all of your Speakle.com email to your Web-based email inbox rather than mixing it up with your work or other personal correspondences.
- Send and receive messages from any internet-connected computer.
- Stay in touch with your matches even when you're out of town.
Cancel your subscription
Q. When will I stop being billed?
A. When you cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renewal, your billing stops immediately. You will not be billed from that day forward, unless you reinstate your subscription.
Q. How do I reinstate my subscription?
A. Simply contact us, and we’ll help you reinstate your subscription.
Q. I subscribed to a 3-month package and have used only one month. If I resign, will I be refunded for the remaining two months?
A. No, Speakle.com does not pro-rate your subscription. If you resign after your first month, your subscription will remain active for the remainder of your initial term. During that time you’ll be able to send email and chat instantly one-on-one with other members.
Q. Will I still be able to send email and respond to other members if I cancel my subscription?
A. You will be able to send emails through the duration of your subscription. For example, if you subscribe for one month on February 1st and you cancel your subscription on February 15th of the same year, you will be able to send email until March 1st.
Q. Can I still sign in if I cancel my subscription?
A. Yes, of course. We welcome you to sign in even though you’ve cancelled your subscription.
Q. What happens to my profile if I resign?
A. When you resign only your subscription, your profile and photos remain visible until you decide to hide them. Should you wish to reactivate your profile within 30 days, all you have to do is sign in and make your profile visible again.
Q. If I resign, will my profile appear when other members search for matches?

Q. If I resign, will I still receive my Speakle.com mutual matches?
A. We will continue to send you mutual matches as long as you want — and as long as your profile remains active. If you no longer wish to receive Mail from Speakle.com, simply visit your email options and turn it off.
Q. If I cancel my subscription, will my profile still show up when users run searches?
A. Yes. If you cancel only your subscription, your profile will appear as long as it is not hidden and members are conducting searches with criteria that match you.

A. To cancel your membership, cancel your subscription, or turn off auto-renewal, visit your account settings and select Change/Cancel Membership.

A. Favorites are the names and profiles of up to 50 of the members you like most.

A. You can save up to 20 favorites.

A. Members will remain in your favorites list until you decide to delete them.

A. Either you deleted the member from your list or the member has hidden his or her profile.

A. No, but you must sign up before you can add favorites.

A. It’s easy with Speakle.com’s unique matching algorithm you can describe who you’re looking for, and we’ll deliver your matches to you.
Q. What is Search?
A. Search and tell us the members you want to see. Start light with country or rate. Then customize your search with physical characteristics, lifestyles, backgrounds and interests. Play around and try a variety of searches. You never know where you'll find your perfect teacher.
Q. Why am I not getting very many search results?
A. There are several ways to increase the number of search results you receive. Check the basic criteria in your search. Is your search radius too narrow?Is your rate range too tight?
Q. What is "Recommend This Teacher to a Friend"?
A. This feature lets you share the results of your search with your friends.
Q. How is Search different from Matching?
A. Search allows you to find members based on your criteria. Matching uses the information from your profile to match you to the profiles of other members.
Q. How can I sort my search results?
A. When reviewing your current search results, you’ll see a pull-down menu of options for sorting your matches by username, Rate, etc. You may also choose to view profile details or display the results as a photo gallery.
